1997 Yamaha VMAX 600 141",electric start, rev

This is the XTC edition at heart, but has upgrades (electric start and extended track).

For an older sled this is in really great shape. Mileage is high (6600) but the top end has been rebuilt so it runs well and is fast. This has been our backup sled for the last 10 years so has seen pretty limited use. However, we still run it a little each year and service it annually (including chaincase & carbs). Seat and exterior are in great condition because it has NEVER been stored outdoors and travels in an enclosed trailer. We added electric start (also has pull start) and reverse when it became my wife's sled. Chaincase bearings have been replaced. Hyrax recently replaced. The track was extended from a 121" to a 141" and the track is in awesome shape with no rips or torn lugs (basically looks like a new track). All gauges (speedometer, headlights, etc.) all work.

This would be an ideal snowmobile for a beginner or even a child since it sits lower to the ground than the current "rider forward" sleds. The heated grips and thumb warmer work properly. Overall a great sled for Iowa ditch banging or taking trips to Wisconsin & Michigan.

Thanks for taking the time to look over our sled. We recently replaced my wife's snowmobile and no longer need this as a backup which is why we are selling the snowmobile.
